AHCCCS has developed a map to identify areas in the state by risk level of losing coverage due to a failure to complete annual renewals.
With this map, AHCCCS continues to provide transparency and information that the stakeholder community can use to strengthen awareness, education, and outreach efforts.
The various colors indicate risk levels ranging from 1-12 (lowest to highest) based on the number of active Medicaid members, the current percentage of procedural discontinuances for response-required renewals, and the number of remaining renewals.
Due to the low population numbers in some areas of the state, AHCCCS is not able to provide data on the volume of members by zip code per HIPAA requirements.
